David Hodge has been named assistant vice president of claims for auto insurer GEICO’s Buffalo, N.Y., regional office. Hodge previously served as the liability director of GEICO’s Virginia Beach, Va., regional operations.
Hodge first joined GEICO at the company’s Woodbury, N.Y., regional office in 2003. He transitioned to the Buffalo office in 2005, where he served in a number of rotational positions including service manager, sales manager and customer service representative manager. In 2009, Hodge completed the executive assistant program and a year later, he was promoted to liability director in the Virginia Beach regional office.
He succeeds Ryan West as assistant vice president with responsibility for claims operations in New Jersey and the New England states when West was named vice president of claims home office.
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies and is the third-largest private passenger auto insurance company in the United States.
