Union Mutual Fire Insurance Company (UM) hiked my home insurance 50%. It is outrageous and an affront, and in this economy, for UM to raise rates by 50% including that I already carry at $2,500 deductible and have few & minor claims over the years. The cost of insuring my home, not an option, has become a burden. This effects not only individual home owners but negatively impacts the economy. What other business gets to raise rates by 50% in one year? Certainty not small business owners.
Was rear ended by another car who had Union Mutual of Vermont. Keep being told that they would settle with me for my damages. Have heard nothing so I guess I am just up the creek without a paddle. Very disappointed that I have not heard back from Andrew one way or the other. Don’t like to see a company just ignore a person who was hurt and upset from something like this happening to them. Not sure I would use this company if they treat people like this.
Very unhappy with not hearing back after my accident which I was the person hurt. Andrew doesn’t follow up even through I leave many messages. Not sure I would use this company.
