“No woman should have her personal healthcare decisions dictated by the religious beliefs of her boss,” Schneiderman said.
“As a senator, I fought for a strong law to protect women from discrimination in healthcare coverage because we must have one set of rules for everyone. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s deeply misguided Hobby Lobby decision, we need to go further to empower the women of New York State with the information they need to make their own healthcare choices. That is what the Reproductive Rights Disclosure Act would accomplish.”
Um…Senator. No one, not even the Supreme Courts Decision, Hobby Lobby or anyone else, is taking power away from women to make their own reproductive choice. They merely do not want to have to PAY for it, since it goes beyond their belief system.
Hobby Lobby provides 16 out of 20 contraceptive choices BEFORE pregnancy. The other 4 choices are aligned with aborting a child.
An IUD aborts a baby? The morning after pill aborts a baby? No. They prevent a zygot from attaching to the uteral wall to prevent the growth of an embryo. Not even close to “abortion.”
Now Libby, don’t start with them there scientific facts. We’s not ready for them book learnin’s and such. Life starts at consepshun, and yer not allowed to end it until he’s old enough to go to war or she’s old enough to die from birthin’ a baby!
…or he’s coming back from grabbin’ some Skittles and a Gatorade and you’re standin’ ya’ll’s ground while trackin’ heem.

Still have trouble seeing how I trample on someones rights by not directly participating in a purchase. Does an employer need to pay for my phone to protect my right to free speech? Does an employer need to buy me football tickets to protect my right to assemble? Does my employer need to tithe to protect my religious rights? I see a wide range between funding and trampling.
