Wright Specialty Insurance in Uniondale, New York, has promoted Kevin C. Beer to president and profit center leader from senior vice president of underwriting.
Wright Specialty is a managing general underwriter and program administrator. It’s a member of The Wright Insurance Group, which was acquired earlier this year by Florida-based national insurance broker Brown & Brown.
In his new role, Beer will oversee the Wright Specialty operations and be responsible for the profitability and growth of all Wright Specialty programs.
Beer has been with The Wright Insurance Group since 2001 and served as Wright Specialty’s senior vice president of underwriting since 2012.
Wright Specialty offers a broad range of insurance and reinsurance products and services, as well as risk management, third-party administration, managed health care, and Medicare set-aside services and programs.
