CMIC, a member-owned medical professional liability insurance provider in Glastonbury, Connecticut, announced that the overall rate indication for Connecticut and Massachusetts policyholders will remain unchanged for the upcoming 2015 policy year. This marks the 11th consecutive year for stable rates in Connecticut and 4th consecutive year for stable rates in Massachusetts, CMIC said.
CMIC insureds will also receive a dividend credit that will approximate 12.5 percent effective with 2015 renewal. In addition, CMIC will continue to provide premium credits to eligible policyholders who have been insured with the company for at least three consecutive years.
CMIC members are also eligible to receive additional premium credit throughout the year by attending loss prevention educational opportunities provided by the company at no charge to its members.
