K&B Underwriters, a Reston, Virginia-based program administrator and wholesale insurance brokerage for senior living facilities, announced its partnership with New York-based Freedom Specialty for its DigniCARE insurance program.
Under the partnership, K&B Underwriters will have binding authority with Freedom Specialty for DignCARE, a branded specialty insurance program that provides senior living facility coverages for single/multi-unit nursing homes, assisted living, retirement communities, adult daycare and respite care facilities. Freedom Specialty is a business unit for Scottsdale Insurance Co., a Nationwide company.
K&B provides nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities and other senior living risks with insurance programs and specialized risk management services.
