I have the same problem with the travelers insurance co. A false engineering report. I hired my own engineering company and found out Travelers denied my claim due to a false engineering report. In my mind by doing some research this was a conspiracy to commit fraud, This is also theft by deception. Meaning they took my money with a guarantee to pay for repairs or replacement of my home in the event a peril listed in my policy caused damage to my home. Then tried to deceive me with a false engineering report and not pay the claim. This is also racketeering. If anyone needs more proof for their case against travelers please contact me.
I am going through a similar scenario as you went through and I am currently in litigation with Travelers insurance. A Travelers inside forensic engineer prepared a report detailing the damage that had occurred from a massive tree falling on my house during a violent storm which wound up in my possession. when a new adjuster contacted me he told me they needed another engineering report and hired Donan engineering. After Donan engineering prepared there report they claimed all the damage was preexisting. I am certain Travelers was not aware of my possession of the first engineering report because it was labeled “internal use only”.
