Rogers & Gray Announces Leadership Change in Massachusetts

Rogers & Gray Insurance, an independent insurance agency with eight locations in Massachusetts, has announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Charles “Chuck” Robinson retired from the agency at the end of 2014, at which time the leadership of the firm passed to his two sons, Michael and David Robinson.

Michael Robinson has assumed the role of chairman of the board of Rogers & Gray and David Robinson has assumed the role of president and CEO of the agency.

Chuck Robinson began his career at Rogers & Gray in 1970 and purchased the agency in 1980. At the time of purchase, there were three locations and 12 employees. During his tenure, Chuck grew Rogers & Gray to include eight locations in Massachusetts with 130 employees. The firm currently has offices in Dennis, Falmouth, Hyannis, Kingston, Norwell, Orleans, Sandwich and Wareham.

Michael Robinson joined the agency in 2003 after working in finance and strategic planning for health care organizations in Boston. In his expanded role, he will oversee the Sales, Marketing, IT and Finance departments.

David Robinson started his career in the financial planning profession and later became involved in the Employee Benefits and Personal Insurance divisions of Rogers & Gray. In his broadened role, he will be responsible for the overall service operations of the agency as well as human resources.
