Clark Insurance, an employee-owned independent insurance agency based in Portland, Maine, announced that its board of directors has elected new officers as part of its long-planned internal leadership succession.
Kenneth Ross was elected chairman of the Board of Directors. Ross joined the agency in 1989 and has served as the agency’s president since 2010.
Elected to succeed Ross as president was G. Jeffrey Shaw. Shaw joined the agency in 2004 and most recently served as executive vice president and sales manager.
Jeffrey Lind was elected executive vice president. Lind has served as vice president and also serves as the agency’s treasurer. Lind joined the agency in 1993.
With more than 100 employees, Clark Insurance sells and services business, employee benefits and personal insurance products throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
