NJM, a property-casualty insurer offering coverage in New Jersey, has partnered with American Modern Insurance Group to offer coverage for motorcycles, ATVs and similar vehicles.
The program offers coverage for standard motorcycles, cruisers, dirt bikes, dual purpose, SuperSports, trike conversions, Tourings, motor scooters, and mopeds. Golf carts, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and four, six, or eight-wheeled utility vehicles are also eligible. It covers most major brands, and includes the choice of full coverage, liability plus comprehensive, or liability only.
In addition to liability and uninsured/underinsured motorists coverage, customers can also select medical payments and physical damage (comprehensive and/or collision for vehicle and its accessories). Other options include travel loss reimbursement, rental reimbursement, and transport trailer coverage.
NJM Insurance Company is the Garden State’s second largest writer of personal auto insurance, covering nearly 800,000 drivers. NJM is also the state’s largest workers’ compensation carrier and writer of homeowners and commercial auto insurance.
American Modern is an underwriter of specialty insurance products for owners of motorcycles, collector vehicles and watercraft. Licensed to write insurance in all 50 states, the Company, whose headquarters are in Amelia, Ohio, is a subsidiary of Munich Re.
