Ascinsure Hires White as Underwriting Manager in Pittsburgh

Ascinsure Specialty Risk has hired David White as underwriting manager and assistant vice president. He is based in Pittsburgh.

Within this role, White will manage and oversee underwriting of all new and renewal business. He will also work to enhance underwriting efficiency, execution and profitability for Ascinsure. Ascinsure is an operating company of Allied Insurance Brokers Inc.

White is an insurance underwriting and risk management professional who brings over 25 years of progressive, multi-line experience to Ascinsure. Most recently, he was senior specialist underwriter at Bituminous Insurance, where he was responsible for a $10+ million book of commercial contractor business.

White also held various underwriting positions with companies such as Pennsylvania National, Hartford, Liberty Mutual and Marsh.

Ascinsure is a nationwide, all-lines program underwriting manager specializing in the crane, rental equipment & party goods dealers, and scaffolding markets. Ascinsure also has the facilities to place difficult and complex inland marine risks.
