EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a retail property and casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant based in San Francisco, Calif., has hired two managing principals from Integro Insurance Brokers to its New York City office.
The firm hired Vincent G. Caracciolo as national managing director of claims and coverage advocacy. In this role, he will report to Dan Crawford, executive vice president and general counsel of EPIC. Caracciolo joins the firm from Integro, where he served as a managing principal and leader of its national coverage and claims practice and was responsible for providing coverage counsel and brokerage and claims advocacy services to the firm’s clients.
EPIC has also hired Michael Klaschka to its financial risk solutions practice. In this role, he will report to Pete Garvey, president of EPIC. Prior to joining the firm, Klaschka also worked at Integro as a managing principal and leader of its national and New York management risk practices. While there, he was responsible for providing professional liability risk consulting and insurance solutions to financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity, family office, technology and complex risks nationally.
