Assurance, a Top 50 U.S. insurance brokerage, has hired Eric Wolfrey to its Washington D.C. team to serve as a risk management consultant.
Wolfrey will provide business insurance and risk management solutions to a variety of industries with a concentration on the construction industry in his new role.
He will work closely with clients to identify and mitigate risks, as well as protect the company’s assets and people. He will accomplish this through a combination of program design, loss control/safety, risk transfer and claims management. His goal is to drive down total cost of risk so clients can reach long-term success and effectively bid on projects.
Scott Lockman, senior vice president and sales leader at Assurance, said in a company press release that the hiring of Wolfrey will be instrumental in the growth of the brokerage’s client base, particularly in construction, in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Wolfrey was hired alongside Jack Groseclose who is a new employee benefits advisor at Assurance.
