    Great, just what was needed, two drivers in an autonomous vehicle, one with hands on the wheel and the other monitoring their instruments to keep them from failing.

    Looks to me like Uber is taking safety seriously. Just like any good risk control model, they are taking the correct approach to advancing this technology. Good on them to address this with both a driver and one who documents any issues the vehicle may have. Kind of like a pilot and co-pilot we have on our flights, which, also run autonomously for the most part.
