SageSure Insurance Managers, an independent residential property managing general underwriter and subsidiary of Insight Catastrophe Group (ICG), has appointed Victor dos Santos as president of Commercial Insurance.
Dos Santos and his team will work from SageSure’s Cheshire, Conn., office.
SageSure plans to begin offering commercial lines in the coming years in addition to the personal lines it has been offering since 2009, according to a company press release.
Dos Santos has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He comes to SageSure from Travelers Insurance, where he was most recently vice president and actuary of Business Insurance. While at Travelers, he led the pricing strategy and product filings for $11 billion of products across various types of business insurance, including commercial property, general liability, umbrella and more.
