WKFC Underwriting Managers has hired Mark Reisig as chief underwriting officer of its Property division, based at the company’s headquarters in Melville, N.Y.
Reisig joins WKFC with more than 30 years of property insurance experience. His previous position was with Arch Insurance Group, where he served in a variety of roles in the Global Property division, both in New York and Bermuda. He most recently held the titles of senior vice president and product line manager of Commercial Property for Arch US.
Reisig began his career as a Highly Protected Risk engineer at Industrial Risk Insurers in 1988, and two years later, he became a HPR underwriter. He joined Kemper International in 1992, beginning as a Home Foreign underwriter and eventually became the manager for its New York City, Eastern and Canadian regions. He then moved on to Willis, where he was an international account manager. He joined Arch in 2002.
