The Iroquois Group, an Allegany, N.Y.-headquartered network of independent insurance agencies, has hired Charles Venus as its vice president of Middle Market & Specialty. Venus is based in Northern Virginia.
The former commercial lines leader for Brown & Brown of Virginia is an experienced insurance professional who will help Iroquois members further develop its Middle Market & Specialty Insurance business.
Prior to working for Brown & Brown, Venus served in varying leadership roles with Travelers and The Hartford.
