I don’t know how Catholics can keep a single member with all the trouble they are in. Why would any parent let their son be a an Alter Boy?

yeah, they should all become Southern Baptists…not like they’ve covered up any sexual misconduct scandals lately. Oh, wait…

Statistically, boy friends and step fathers commit the most child sexual abuse in America. And it isn’t even close.

But the liberal media can’t blame a conservative organization by focusing on those children, so you will never see this article in Insurance Journal: “Step moms sue insurance companies for refusing to cover liability claims by their children against sexually abusing boy friends and step fathers. . .”

As if the media cares about the kids. Sure they do.

It’s horrible that anyone would have to endure pain at the hands of someone who is supposed to be a caretaker and nurturer. However, the Catholic Church does not promote or condone this type of behavior. While priests should be followers of Christ, they are not the belief system that the faith is built upon. There are over a billion Catholics around the world and unfortunately when you look at that many people as a population, people-none of which are perfect, there are going to be those who are wonderful humans that look after and protect the innocent, and those that are deceitful and despicable. I hope anyone who was wronged at the hands of a priest, or anyone who should have cared for them, finds peace and receives just compensation.

I was an alter boy for many years as a young boy and I never had even one priest suggest, do or try anything sexual or out of order. I never heard of anyone else, my buddies, being approached or abused.

Typically it is sub limited on the GL like employee benefits etc. It is meant to indemnify the organization, not the perpetrator of the abuse. In fact, typically, defense costs/indemnification for the accused are excluded.
