Tremor, a Boston, Mass-based, programmatic insurance and reinsurance risk marketplace, has appointed Jeremy Ginter as the company’s new vice president of sales.
Ginter brings more than fifteen years of experience in business development and sales to this new role where he will oversee the development and implementation of Tremor’s sales strategy. This new role will work along with the company’s product, engineering and tech teams to translate Tremor’s product features to the re/insurance market.
The hiring of Ginter comes on the heels of significant fundraising as well as the pending launch of Tremor V2. In September, the company announced total funding of $10 million where W. R. Berkley Corporation joined Nephila Capital, Markel Corporation and lead investor Anthemis Group to fulfill the round. Just last week, Tremor announced version 2.0 of its Risk Transfer Marketplace.
Prior to Tremor, Ginter was senior vice president of Willis Re North America. Before Willis, he worked at MMIC in Minneapolis as a business development consultant and also held operations director positions with startup companies Union Protein and mystride. He began his career as a reinsurance broker with Guy Carpenter and Collins Associates in 2001.
Ginter will officially join Tremor as vice president of sales on October 28, 2019.
