Just stop the Climate Change articles, IJ. Is this insurance news because of the lawsuit? It’s getting old having to read this crap day in and day out.

Massachusetts and NY are like two peas in a pod. Socialism rampant in both states. No wonder they are losing population.

I have an issue with people who do not understand why this important in our industry. Climate change lawsuits have become even more prevalent today, and if these companies lose, I think that could have pretty wide consequences for all gas companies and additional litigation that will affect our industry.

Why do you think this is not important?

We get it, you’re from the People’s Republic of Massachusetts.

Thanks for all the Chamber of Commerce propaganda.

BTW, you guys did a hell of a job fighting the Brits nearly single handedly back in ’74,’75’& 76. You kept the revolt alive until the rest of us could get our act together. For that, we thank you.

“Our goal here is simple: to stop Exxon from engaging in this deception and penalize it for this conduct,” Healey told reporters……(with a straight face) LOL !!
No, Ms. Healey, that is not your goal at all.

Looks to me a lot like a money grab by Mass.

“Attorney General Maura Healey filed the lawsuit shortly after Exxon lost a bid to delay the filing until after it is done defending itself in a trial that began Tuesday over similar allegations brought by the state of New York.” This ramps up the extortion factor by forcing Exxon to spend $$$$ defending itself on two fronts. Look for other states to follow ‘suit’, no pun intended. Many of these liberal states have taxed their citizens to the gills and are now looking for other sources of income.
