Insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh has appointed Tamara Simpkins Franklin as chief digital, data and analytics officer, effective October 1. Based in New York, she reports to Marsh President and CEO John Doyle.
In this role, Franklin will be responsible for designing and implementing digital technologies and enhancing the use of data and analytics to transform how Marsh supports and serves clients.
Franklin joins Marsh from IBM where she was most recently vice president of Media and Entertainment Solutions in North America. She brings more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformations and defining strategies for multinational organizations, including Scripps, Time Warner and Motorola.
