Independent insurance agency AssetSure has hired Ted Karlunas as vice president and Personal Insurance Practice leader.
In this role, Karlunas will lead personal insurance operations as the agency expands its outreach to new territories. He will be involved in the formation and execution of marketing and sales strategy for personal insurance, as well as innovating processes through technology. AssetSure’s account managers within the personal insurance sector will report to him.

Prior to joining AssetSure, Karlunas was the Mid-Atlantic Operations leader for a large international agency, where he was responsible for client retention, cross selling to internal business units and large claim advocacy. Prior roles included sales, account and claims advisory for high net-worth individuals.
Founded in 1977 as Harvey Insurance Group, AssetSure provides personal and commercial insurance coverage for businesses, investment properties, automobiles, homes, boats, aircrafts and valuable articles and is available in 47 states through insurance carriers.
