World Insurance Associates reported it has acquired the business of Bafumi Insurance Agency of Middletown, Connecticut.
Terms of the August 1, 2025 transaction were not disclosed.
A family business, the agency is led by Guido and Lauren Bafumi and sells property/casualty and life and health insurance throughout Connecticut.
Guido Bafumi, president, said that as part of World his team will have access to additional products and services to meet the needs of customers.
World Insurance, based in Iselin, New Jersey, serves clients from more than 300 offices across the U.S. and U.K.
