ACE Europe announced the appointment of Iain McConnachie to the position of Direct Marketing Director for Europe within its Accident & Health division.
He joins ACE’s European operation from Time Life Direct Entertainment where he was European Managing Director. McConnachie has extensive direct marketing experience across the retail financial services sector. “He has held senior roles with American Express (Marketing Director – Personal Cards), Chase Manhattan Bank (Vice President – Retail Sales and Marketing) and Legal & General (Head of New Distribution). He has also carried out a number of interim and consulting roles in credit cards (HBOS, MBNA, Nat West), insurance (AXA, Direct Line), investments (JP Morgan) and most recently retail banking as Head of Direct Marketing for Barclays,” said the announcement.
He will report to Ed Levin, Executive VP of ACE’s European Accident & Health business and will have responsibility for further growing ACE’s relationships with existing key partners, recruiting new partners and expanding ACE’s direct to consumer business.
