The Certified Risk Managers (CRM) International Program in México has a new home on the Web: www.crm-international.org.
CRM en Espanol was first introduced in México by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in 2006, and is now the leading risk management education program in México and Latin America. The new Web site is in Spanish, featuring 2009 and 2010 course schedules, online registration, and helpful risk management and insurance links.
There was a lack of formal education in risk management in México until the introduction of the five CRM courses. These courses are not only attended by participants from México, but also by participants from Venezuela, Panama, Ecuador, and other Latin American countries. The first four CRM designees were conferred in 2008, and today there are 28 México CRMs, with many more risk management professionals well on the way toward their designations.
