Price Forbes & Partners, an independent, London-based specialist insurance broker, announced the expansion of its business through the establishment of a Treaty Reinsurance Division.
Starting October first, the newly-formed division will be lead by Paul Bumpstead as Managing Director, Reinsurance. He will focus on delivering Price Forbes’ Treaty Reinsurance offering to clients globally.
Bumpstead has “over 40 years’ experience in Property and Liability reinsurance,” said the bulletin. He will be based in London.
“Expanding our capabilities to include Treaty Reinsurance as part of our overall proposition to clients is a key priority for us and a major pillar of Price Forbes’ growth strategy,” explained Price Forbes CEO Michael Donegan. “Having someone of Paul’s calibre and experience is testament to the emphasis we are placing in this area and I know that our clients will find Paul to be a valuable asset. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
