London-based Oxygen Insurance Brokers announced that it has “further strengthened its broking and risk management services to architects, engineers and surveyors with the appointment of two new senior brokers, part of its plan to target further growth in the construction related professions.”
Andrew Palmer joins Oxygen from Aon Global Professions where he was a Director. He has over 20 years’ experience in Professional Indemnity insurance, specializing in the construction professions.
Andrew Swan, previously a Development Director at Aon Global Professions, joins Oxygen as a Development Director. He has built his career focusing on the professionals sector including Architects, Surveyors, Engineers, Solicitors and Accountants.
Oxygen said the appointments signal its ambitions to “increase its market share and to extend the range of solutions it offers the professions on a direct and wholesale basis. The new team will report to Andrew Wallin, Managing Director of Oxygen Partners, a division specializing in the creation and management of facilities for third party brokers and MGAs.
Wallin commented: “This expansion of our industry expertise is a further demonstration of our commitment to the construction professions. We have already built a strong proposition in this area and these two new appointments with enhance this further. Both bring a significant wealth of knowledge and experience that will play an important part in achieving our growth plans.”
