Cooper Gay Launches European Markets Integrated Trading Unit

London-based Cooper Gay, an independent global wholesale, reinsurance and specialist retail insurance broker, has launched Cooper Gay European Markets, which it describes as an “integrated trading unit to provide clients with a consistent, timely and balanced service for their risk protection needs.”

Cooper Gay announced the new initiative at AMRAE, the French Risk Managers’ Association conference in Deauville, the integrated platform will pool the talent of Cooper Gay’s experts in Hamburg, Paris and London.

It’s designed to cover “a wide range of property, terrorism, and liability insurance and reinsurance risks,” said the bulletin. “The combined expertise of the 20-strong team will place and service both wholesale insurance and facultative reinsurance business in the European and international marketplaces, including Lloyd’s and the London company markets. Cooper Gay’s global office network will provide access to capacity outside Europe.

“The new platform approach will enhance existing synergies within Cooper Gay, so that clients will benefit from a faster and more comprehensive response to their needs.”
