Arch Reinsurance Group has announced its expansion into Treaty reinsurance in Canada with the appointment of Patrick McGuinness to lead Arch Re Canada’s new Treaty operation based in Toronto.
He has 35 years of experience in the Canadian reinsurance and insurance market serving in both senior management and underwriting positions. “Arch Re Canada will offer a full range of property and casualty Treaty products to serve the Canadian marketplace, complementing its existing Canadian Facultative team,” said the bulletin.
In Canada, Arch Re presently operates through Arch Insurance (Canada), a licensed branch of Arch Insurance Company.
