The XL Group announced that it has promoted Kadidja Sinz to the role of Regional Manager Continental Europe in the Insurance segment’s Distribution and Network function. She will also continue as Country Manager for France.
In her new role Sinz will also she also lead teams looking after clients and brokers in Austria and Central/Eastern Europe, Benelux, Germany, Italy, Nordic and Switzerland. She will remain based in Paris and report to Jason Harris, Chief Executive of XL Group’s International P&C Insurance unit.
Harris commented: “The regional and country managers with responsibility for Distribution and Network manage the regulatory and operational platform for our various business lines in each market. At the same time, they play a central role in making sure that we bring all our capabilities to bear to anticipate and respond to the needs of our clients and brokers in their discrete market places.
“Kadidja combines very solid underwriting and distribution experience with strong leadership qualities. Her expertise in Continental Europe means that our clients and brokers, as well as our teams in the region, will benefit from her strategic business approach and her commitment to execution and delivery.”
Sinz has more than 25 years of experience in the European and French insurance markets. She joined XL Group in 2011 from Ace Europe, where her last role was as Distribution and Customer Relationship Manager for Europe. Previously she held various management roles at AIG Europe in Paris and Chubb France.
