ACE Group has appointed Robert Latimer as environmental risk underwriter as it continues to invest in building its environmental liability insurance capabilities in the UK & Ireland.
Latimer will be responsible for growing ACE’s regional environmental liability book, working predominantly with brokers outside of London to develop environmental liability programs. He will be based in Manchester and report to Emma Bartolo, UK & Ireland environmental risk manager. His appointment takes place with immediate effect.
Latimer has 13 years’ environmental consultancy experience and joins from OHES Environmental Consulting (part of AJ Gallagher) where he was a principal environmental consultant, managing environmental incidents across a wide range of industries and clients. Prior to that, he was environmental consultant at specialist consultancy service provider WSP Environmental.
