London-based Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc announced several senior management appointments within its UK Employee Benefits business and JLT Asia. These appointments are subject to obtaining the appropriate regulatory approvals, where required.
Mark Woodis retiring from his role as the CEO of JLT’s UK employee benefits business and will be leaving the group at the end of May 2015.
Duncan Howorth is returning to the UK after two years as CEO of JLT Asia to take up the position of CEO of JLT’s UK Employee Benefits business, effective from June1, 2015. Howorth will continue in his role as the international chairman of Employee Benefits.
Dominic Samengo-Turner is appointed CEO of JLT Asia, with effect from May 1, 2015. Samengo-Turner has previously spent over 20 years at Willis, most recently as co-chief executive of Global Specialities and a director of Willis Limited.
Ian Robinson, currently the COO of JLT Asia, is returning to the UK to take up the position of COO of Thistle Insurance Services Limited, with effect from July 1, 2015.
Warren Downey,currently CEO of JLT Specialty’s Regional Risk Practice and Trading Division, is appointed deputy CEO and COO of JLT Asia, with effect from May 1, 2015 and July 1, 2015, respectively.
