ACE Group has appointed Martin Stankiewicz as head of sales and distribution, Nordics, as it continues to strengthen its insurance capabilities and team in the region. Stankiewicz has also joined ACE’s local management team.
In this newly created role, Stankiewicz will be responsible for the development and implementation of ACE’s property and casualty sales and distribution strategy across the Nordics, while additionally supporting the development of the corporate A&H portfolio. The appointment is effective immediately.
Working closely with business line managers and underwriters, Stankiewicz will focus on generating profitable growth for ACE through effective new product development and distribution for brokers and clients in the region.
His background includes more than 10 years of insurance and financial services industry experience and consulting roles in Sweden and the United States. He joins ACE from RSA Scandinavia, where he most recently held the position of program manager for the company’s online project portfolio. Previously he held the position of Nordic strategy manager.
Stankiewicz will be based in Stockholm, reporting to Bror Sandås, country president for ACE in the Nordics and Patricia Goudarzi, director sales and distribution for ACE in Continental Europe.
