July 23, 2015

JLT Re, the London-based reinsurance broker and consultancy, announced it is continuing to develop and diversify its Programs and Binding Authority Division with three new appointments.

Mark Sleet has joined from Miller where he specialized in casualty business; Sleet has been appointed a partner and will be focused on general casualty. Lee Collins has joined from Oxford Insurance Brokers Ltd. where he was a director and has been appointed as partner. Adrian Steele will be joining the JLT Re team from Oxford Insurance Brokers Ltd. in August 2015. Both Collins and Steele will be focusing on specialty and professional lines.

Neill Cotton, joined JLT Re to lead the Programs and Binding Authority Division late last year. Commenting on these recent appointments, Cotton said, the division previously “had a strong property focus and tended to specialize in a limited number of other product lines. We are now working to diversify and develop the team both from within and with a number of key hires.”

“These are all great hires and exemplify our drive to focus on clients by building JLT Re around knowledge and insight, creating a full service offering in our Programs & Binding Authorities Division,” said Keith Harrison, CEO, UK & Europe, JLT Re (which is part of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group). “They bring a vast array of skills, experience and knowledge which will benefit both their division and the rest of JLT Re.”
