Hamilton Underwriting Ltd., the managing agency of Lloyd’s Syndicate 3334 and the Lloyd’s operations of Bermuda-based Hamilton Insurance Group, announced that Adrian Daws has been appointed to the position of deputy active underwriter and head of specialty. Daws reports to active underwriter Trevor Carvey.
Daws has over 15 years’ industry experience, with 13 years spent underwriting specialty classes of business. He comes to Hamilton Underwriting Ltd. from Hardy (Underwriting Agencies) Ltd. where he held the position of head of specialty lines for seven years.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Adrian to the Hamilton team. With a proven track record of building successful and profitable accounts of specialty business, he’s considered a rising star in the Lloyd’s market,” said Dermot O’Donohoe, CEO of Hamilton Underwriting Ltd.
