Murphy Joins CFC in London as Claims Director

Specialist lines underwriting agency CFC has appointed Margaret Murphy as Claims Director.

Murphy joins the business from the New York law firm, Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, where she was a partner. She has experience representing U.S. and international insurers on claims. She has also previously worked with insurers to develop risk management programs.

At various times in her career, Murphy has been seconded to the legal department of several major Lloyd’s syndicates where she assisted underwriting and claims professionals on various lines of North American business as well with underwriting and regulatory issues.

She will be based in CFC’s office in London.
