Worldwide Broker Network (WBN)* announced the addition of two members in Germany and Croatia, bringing the network of independent insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firms to 109 in 101 countries. Based on combined annual member revenues, WBN said it is the largest, fully integrated international network of independent insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants and fourth-largest among all broker networks.
The new members are:
- Lurse AG is a German human resources management consulting company with more than 25 years of experience in developing HR systems and processes for companies from various sectors. More than 60 employees provide consulting services in benchmarking, compensation & benefits, talent & performance, and pensions from offices in Paderborn/Salzkotten, Frankfurt/Main, Hanover, Cologne/Bonn, Munich as well as Zurich, Switzerland.
- KSG Broker (formerly Koban Südvers Group Zagreb), headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, was established in 2011 and provides property & casualty risk management and insurance services to commercial clients in Croatia and Bosnia.
“We are delighted to have added two prestigious members in Europe, which now numbers 38 member firms in 36 countries. As with our other members, the firms are among the largest independents in their countries, serving organizations well beyond their home country borders,” said Francie Starnes, WBN’s chief executive officer.
“As part of Koban Südvers Group Austria in 2012, we started to work within WBN and immediately understood the importance of being part of such international environment. Now, acting as independent company, KSG Broker wishes to continue and expand this experience,” said KSG executive Igor Kolar.
* Founded in 1989 in Europe by nine firms, the strategic alliance now comprises more than 100 independent firms in over 100 countries on six continents.
