Specialty insurer CFC has appointed Angus Marshall as its Transaction Liability practice leader.
Marshall joins CFC from American International Group where he led the UK and London Market mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team for more than four years. Prior to this, Marshall focused on emerging markets transactions at AIG, having joined from international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.
CFC founder and CEO Dave Walsh called Marshall “one of the most experienced transaction liability underwriters in the London market.” He said CFC’s transaction liability practice has been one of its fastest growing lines of business.
CFC’s transaction liability insurance products include warranty and indemnity(representations and warranty insurance) insurance, and contingent and tax liability insurance.
