Peak Re Appoints Pioneer’s Souter as Director of Markets for P/C Business

Hong Kong-based Peak Re announced the appointment of Andrew Souter as director of markets responsible for developing the company’s property/casualty reinsurance business.

Souter brings with him 18 years of experience in the finance industry. He joins Peak Re from Pioneer Underwriters/ Syndicate 1980 where he was head of capital and a member of the executive management team, responsible for capital raising. Prior to Pioneer Underwriters, Souter spent a decade with Willis Re, where he was concurrently head of the London-based Asia-Pacific team and head of the insurance linked securities (ILS) practice group for the international division.
