Global reinsurer MS Amlin AG announced that Christopher Beazley has stepped down as chief executive officer.
According to the announcement, Beazley will “pursue opportunities outside of MS Amlin” after serving as CEO for the past three years. He originally joined MS Amlin in 2007 and has held several leadership roles across the MS Amlin group of companies over the last decade.
The company said it will announce its new CEO in the near future. It did not identify Beazley’s successor but said its board has concluded negotiations with a reinsurance leader with 30 years of international industry experience who is “well-suited to drive continued growth and innovation” at the company.
As part of the transition, Martin Albers, currently serving as chairman of the board of directors, will function as interim CEO.

Albers thanked Beazley for his dedication to the company. “He has navigated MS AAG through a complex transition, laying a strong foundation to carry the business forward. We appreciate his contributions as CEO and various leadership roles over the past decade,” Albers said.
