International insurance brokerage group, Assurex International, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, announced the appointment of new directors and officers to its 2002 board of directors.
Elected to a three-year board term is Assurex Partner Dan Koch of The Harry A. Koch Co., Omaha, Neb. Koch also assumes the role of Board Treasurer.
Joining Koch as 2002 Assurex officers are: Chairwoman Karen Farris of Roach Howard Smith & Hunter, Dallas; Chair-Elect Greg Collins of Parker, Smith & Feek Inc., Bellevue, Wash.; and Secretary John Warfel of The James B. Oswald Co., Cleveland, Ohio.
In addition to the newly appointed officers, 2002 Assurex board members include: George Anderson of Polk & Sullivan Group Inc., Nashville, Tenn.; Michael Bill of Indianapolis’ M-J Insurance Inc.; Greg LaMair of Des Moines, Iowa’s LaMair-Mulock-Condon; Herman Laturnau Fred C. Church Insurance, Boston; Stanley D. Loar of Woodruff-Sawyer & Co., San Francisco; Harry (Bo) Mattei of Mobile, Alabama’s Thames Batre Mattei Beville & Ison; Jeff Tompkins of Engle-Hambright & Davies Inc., Lancaster, Penn.; Robert Viau, of Montreal, Canada’s Roger Viau & Fils Inc.; and Gerard Wenzke of Hatch Leonard Naples, Rochester, N.Y.
