Illinois-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has completed the acquisitions of Manning & Smith Insurance Inc. of Wichita, Kan.; Roberts & Roberts Insurance Agency Inc. of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and MountainView Software Corporation of Layton, Utah.
Manning & Smith dating back to 1933, is an insurance agency offering retail and wholesale property/casualty products and services. The company specializes in the hospitality industry and handle insurance programs for over 1,600 hotels worldwide. They also offer a full range of group benefit insurance to a diversified clientele. Craig Smith, Christy Smith and their staff will continue to operate in their Wichita location under the direction of Steve Ring, Gallagher’s north central regional manager.
Founded in 1988, Roberts & Roberts Insurance, Inc. is a full-service group life, health and accident insurance agency, which focuses on benefits for employers with 10 to 2,000 employees. Jerry Roberts and his staff will continue to operate in their Oklahoma City office under the direction of Michael Brewer, south central regional manager of Gallagher Benefit Services, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Founded in 1994, MountainView Software Corporation is a custom software development and training company that specializes in high-level claims managing and reporting software designed for the professional claims examiner. Steve Schmutz and his staff will continue to operate from their Layton, Utah office under the direction of Emil Bravo, executive vice president of Gallagher Bassett Services, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
