The Web Marketing Association is calling for entries for its eighth annual WebAward Competition, including the category of best insurance Web site. The competition is meant to recognize the individual and team achievement of Web professionals who create and maintain outstanding corporate Web sites. The deadline for entry is June 30, 2004.
The 2004 WebAward Competition for Web site development is open to all organizations and individuals involved in the process of developing corporate Web sites worldwide, including interactive agencies, Web site owners, and corporate marketing and e-commerce departments. To be eligible for the 2004 WebAward Competition, sites must have been or will be in general use for at least part of calendar year 2004.
Sites will be judged on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use, the association said in a statement. Each WebAward entry is judged against other entries in the category and then against an overall standard of excellence.
Judging for the WebAwards will take place in July and August, and winners will be announced in September 2004. Previous winners have included Empire BlueCross BlueShield and progressive.com.
