Wausau Insurance customers can now receive automatic claim alerts via e-mail, along with a host of other new electronic features available on myServices, Wausau’s secure Internet site designed to give customers access to more risk-management tools and information.
The new feature, called ClaimAlerts, notifies registered Wausau customers via e-mail when certain triggering claim events occur. An alert may be sent when a claim is open, closed, reopened, or paid amounts exceed a user-defined threshold.
The Wausau, Wis.-based property/casualty insurer said that during the past 12 months, over 30,000 claims have been reported via Internet ExPRS, Wausau’s Internet claim reporting application on myServices.
