THOMCO announced the acquisition of the book of business of The American Agency, a specialist in ambulance services, hospital fleets and para-transit operations. Howard Handler and Kent Clements, as managers of THOMCO’s American Agency Division, will continue to underwrite and manage this book of business in Kansas City.
The three new THOMCO programs are now called Ambulance Plus, Hospital Fleet Complete, and Para-Transit Pro. Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company, rated A, XV will continue to be the carrier for this program. Coverages offered include Automobile Liability and Physical Damage, General Liability, Professional Liability, Property and Inland Marine.
THOMCO also handles seven other major national programs including Childcare Choice, Senior Living Programs, Mental Health Plus, Developmentally Disabled Plus, Headstart Programs, Pest Control Pro and In-Home Daycare. All of these programs are backed by an A-rated carrier and most include property and auto as well as casualty coverages.
