Darien, Ill.-based direct life Internet broker Quotesmith.com saw its fourth-quarter revenues double last year’s results but it still reported a $116,000 loss for the period.
Revenues were up to $4.4 million from $2.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2003, and full-year revenues rose 63 percent to $15.9 million, versus $9.7 million in 2003.
The company has yet to record a profit, however, with its full-year net loss totaling $1.8 million, even worse than 2003’s $1.3 million in the red.
