Mr. Segal is delaying the inevitable, so get it over with and give him his long-term sentence.

I am sure his new cellmate Bubby will take care of him behind their closed cell door!

Segal was so connected with the Chicago Political Machine that it was a matter of time before he paid the ultimate price of doing time.

I think that comment, “Let him rot in Jail” is the meanest think to say. YOU DO NOT KNOW Mike Segal. I myself worked with him and found that he was and still can be one of the smartest men in the business world.
Okay, there may have been some bad decisions in his business, but in a worldwide reality busines these decisions still need to be made. Maybe that’s why there made behind close door.

Mr. Segal might of been a strong businessman, but spending agency billed Company money (Client premiums) for his own benefit and other illegal activities is completely unethical and that is exactly what puts a black eye on the rest of us in the industry who uphold to higher standards.

Mr. Segal has skirted the system and has been convicted and rightfully should spend considerable time behind bars for his actions. Obviously, you have a different perspective because of you knowing him, and that is okay, but it still doesn’t explain the millions of dollars he illegally spent on himself and the political machine in Chicago. Was Mr. Segal mentally competent when he took millions of dollars of clients money paid to the agency? I would have to say he knew fully it was illegal, but any white-collared criminal keeps doing it until they get caught and then deny it! Of course, the jury had a different opinion which in this case they were correct.

Mr. Segal “stole” from the government and is paying the ultimate price while Enron and other CEO’s who stole from people like you and me walk free.
The treatment of Mr. Segal is not fair when compared to similar cases.

Bernie Ebbers, CEO WorldCom, 25 years plus liquidation of assets. I would say that they aren’t going off free. Keep up to date.

I continue to pray not only for Mike Segal but for those who still hold such bitterness towards him. YOU HAVE HEARD THAT IT WAS SAID, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AND SHALL HATE THY ENEMY, BUT I SAY TO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, DO GOOD TO THOSE WHO HATE YOU, AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO PERSECUTE AND CALUMINATE YOU, SO THAT YOU MAY BE CHILDREN OF YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, WHO MAKES HIS SUN TO RISE ON THE GOOD AND THE EVIL, AND SENDS RAIN ON THE JUST AND THE UNJUST. fOR IF YOU LOVE THOSE THAT LOVE YOU, WHAT REWARD SHALL YOU HAVE? DO NOT EVEN THE PUBLICANS DO THAT? AND IF YOU SALUTE YOUR BRETHREN ONLY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING MORE THAN OTHERS? DO NOT EVEN THE GENTILES DO THAT? YOU THEREFORE ARE TO BE PERFECT, EVEN AS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT…..MATTHEW 5 43:48
I sincerely think the people who have taken such great pride in persecuting Mike should really take a good look at themselves……….Matt 7 – Do not judge, that you may not be judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you. But why do thou see the speck in thy brothers’ eye and yet do not consider the beam in thy own eye? God Bless you all…..I will continue my prayers…..
