A Waterloo, Iowa insurance agent has been arrested for allegedly hiding a wireless camera in his office restroom. Robert Speirs, 53, an American Family insurance agent, said he put the camera in the restroom because he suspected one of his employees of drug use.
The incident was reported by a female employee who noticed the camera was hidden in a box next to the toilet. Two days later, Speirs was charged with invasion of privacy.
According to police accounts the camera was pointed directly at the toilet area. Speirs pulled a monitor out of his desk drawer and gave it to police after being served with a search warrant. His VCR was also confiscated.
