I approve of these measures and hope that more states enact them. We have to ensure that our seniors are able to handle the additional pressures of driving as they age when their eyesight and reflexes wane.

It\’s safer for the seniors, its safer for other drivers, and its better for America.

I can see just fine to operate or motor vehicel. How can this class improve my flexibility and reaction time? When the time comes, I should be retested and my license taken away if need be.

After a number of years of not being tested drivers can forget the fundamentals of driving. Years of bad driving habits reinforced through their own self-aggrandizement.

Prior to any retesting I believe it is important that elderly drivers be given the chance to improve their skills, re-learn driving in order to better cope with their declining abilities. Simply driving slower doesn\’t make you a safer driver.

I do not oppose retesting. However I do think it prudent to offer a driver\’s ed course for the elderly so that they can properly deal with their growing shortfalls in vision and reflexes. If when they do get retested and still fail, their license will be revoked anyway.
