David Sipprell was recently named senior vice president of marketing at Allianz Income Management Services (AIMS), a Minneapolis-based company formed this past August by Allianz of America to respond to the retirement income needs of retiring baby boomers.
Sipprell, 44, will be responsible for all marketing and distribution. This is a newly-created post.
Sipprell joined AIMS from Allianz Life of North America, where he was an 18-year veteran and most recently served as president of Allianz Life’s largest product line – fixed and indexed annuities. Before that, he created and led the company’s independent distribution channel and was president of its Health Care Risk Management Division, responsible for its top line growth and profitability. Sipprell entered the insurance field in 1984 with Northwestern National Life.
Founded in August 2006, Allianz Income or AIMS, for short, was a new company formed by Allianz of North America to respond to retirement income needs of retiring baby boomers.
